BALTIMORE — Twenty-four teams have been selected to participate in the 2005 US Lacrosse Men’s Division Intercollegiate Associates National Championship, which will be held from May 10-14 at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minn. The event is sponsored by Lax World, Sports Her Way and STX. Sixteen teams were selected for the Division A championship and eight schools were selected for the inaugural Division B championship.
BYU earned the No. 1 seed in the Division A field after knocking off six-time US Lacrosse MDIA finalist Colorado State 8-7 in the championship game of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference.
