All-American Teams

The 2005 US Lacrosse Women's Division Intercollegiate Associates All-American teams were announced on Saturday, May 14 during halftime of the Women's Division national championship game between four-time national champion Cal Poly and second-seeded Colorado State. The United States Naval Academy placed the most players on the first team with three. The first team also features four sophomores, two coming from Navy. Cal Poly, UC-Santa Barbara and Michigan all had two players selected to the first team. The WDIA end of the year awards were announced Thursday night during the WDIA banquet at the National Sports Center.

Defensive Player of the Year: Shelby Hunter, Cal Poly
Rookie of the Year: Amanda Towey, Navy

MVP of the Year: Jen Gunlikson, Colorado State
