Speakers Named for 2007 US Lacrosse National Convention

BALTIMORE — Dom Starsia, head coach of defending NCAA men’s lacrosse champion Virginia, and Jen Adams, the most valuable player of the 2005 IFWLA World Cup, are among the clinicians that will be featured at the 2007 US Lacrosse National Convention, presented by Harrow Sports. The convention takes place from Jan. 11-14, 2007 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. Online registration is available through the US Lacrosse Web site through December 31.

The US Lacrosse National Convention is an educational opportunity presented each year for coaches, officials and administrators. More than 5,000 lacrosse enthusiasts attend the convention each year. For the third year in a row the clinic will feature a live-field demonstration area, sponsored by Warrior, to supplement classroom clinics for coaches and officials. Both the U.S. men’s and women’s teams will conduct demonstrations during the convention. Clinics are offered for all levels of coaches and officials, ranging from youth play up through college-aged players.

The convention also features a robust vendor hall, recruiting fares for men’s and women’s college coaches, the US Lacrosse Men’s Division Coaches Council Awards presentation, the US Lacrosse Youth Council Awards Breakfast and several other special events.
