U.S. Men's Team Ready for MLL All-Star Game

BALTIMORE — The 2006 U.S. Men's National Team will take on the best in Major League Lacrosse on Thursday, July 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the league's 5th All-Star game being held at Nickerson Field in Boston.

Tickets, priced at $20 and $25 apiece, can be purchased by calling 1.866.MLL.TIXX or online here through the Boston Cannons.

This will be the last time that you will be able to see Team USA in the United States before the Red, White and Blue heads north to Canada for the

2006 International Lacrosse Federation (ILF) World Championships in London, Ontario from July 13-22. The U.S. Men's National Team is playing a three-game exhibition schedule in preparation of defending its six straight ILF World Championships.

The MLL All-Star roster was released on Tuesday, June 13 and features five former U.S. Men's National Team players: Baltimore Bayhawks attackman Mark Million (1994, '98), New Jersey Pride attackman Jesse Hubbard (1998), Denver Outlaws midfielder Mike Law (2002), New Jersey Pride midfielder Adam Donegar (2002 alternate) and New Jersey Pride defenseman Ryan McClay (2002). The MLL All-Star roster also features two former U.S. Men's U-19 National Team players: Boston Cannons attackman Conor Gill (1999) and Denver Outlaws midfielder Josh Sims (1996). Eleven players on the MLL All-Star roster participated in the tryouts for the 2006 U.S. Men's National Team.

The game will be played under MLL rules, including the 60-second shot clock and two-point goal.

The game will be broadcasted by ESPN2 and will air on that station on Sunday, July 9 at 1 p.m.
