Three US Lacrosse Clinics Coming to Dallas on February 3-4

BALTIMORE- US Lacrosse, in conjunction with its North Texas Chapter, will host three instructional clinics in Dallas, Texas on Saturday and Sunday, February 3-4, 2007 at the Episcopal School of Dallas. The weekend will provide both young male and female players the opportunity to learn from some of the best players in the United States through the Men’s and Women’s National Team clinics. Coaches will experience the US Lacrosse Coaches Education Program, the only program of its kind available nationally, which provides the instructors the opportunity to be trained through the sport’s national governing body while following national standards for coaches.

Members of the 2006 U.S. Men's National Team will be conducting a players’ clinic on Saturday, February 3rd for youth lacrosse players (boys), ages 8 to 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. That session will be followed on Sunday, February 4th by the U.S. Women's National Team players' clinic for youth players (girls), ages 8 to 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Both clinics are now sold out.

US Lacrosse will also feature a two-day, Level 1 Coaches Education instructional clinic on Saturday and Sunday at the Episcopal School of Dallas. The first session, on Saturday, will run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by the second session on Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Participants must attend both sessions in order to receive a certificate of completion for the clinic.

The cost of the two-day coaches clinic is $50 for those who have completed the online course, and $65 for those who have not. To register for the Coaches’ Education clinic, please click here (if you have completed the online course) or here (for those who have not completed the online course).
