BALTIMORE– US Lacrosse has named the locations of four major lacrosse events in 2008 and one in 2009. The events, locations, and dates are as follows:
US Lacrosse Women’s Division Intercollegiate Associates National Championship – May 6-10, 2008 Dick’s Sporting Goods Park (Denver, Colo.) The mission of the US Lacrosse Womens Division Intercollegiate Associates Council (WDIA) is to promote the growth of women’s lacrosse nationwide. Specifically, the WDIA provides an infrastructure in which collegiate clubs compete and crown a national champion. In 2008, the US Lacrosse WDIA National Championship will return to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Denver, Colo.
2008 US Lacrosse Women’s Division National Tournament – May 24-26, 2008 St. Paul School for Girls (Brooklandville, Md.) and the McDonogh School (Owings Mills, Md.) The Women’s Division National Tournament began in 1933 as a tournament to showcase the best post-collegiate and club women’s lacrosse players. Since that time, it has grown into one of the largest women’s lacrosse events in the nation and features three levels of play including high school, senior, and club divisions. It is a true celebration of women’s lacrosse and continues to represent the heartbeat of the game. 2008 marks the 75th anniversary for the National Tournament. This year the event will be less than 15 miles away from the 2008 Women’s NCAA Division I Final Four held at Towson University.

2009 US Lacrosse Women’s Division National Tournament – May 23-24, 2009 Cedar Lane Regional Park (Bel Air, Md.) This brand new 14-field complex is slated to open fall of 2008. The 2009 Women’s NCAA Division I Final Four will return to Towson University and Cedar Lane Regional Park is less than 30 miles from this event.
National Youth Festivals The U-13 and U-15 National Youth Festivals are annual gatherings of teams, representative of each participating chapter of US Lacrosse. The ideals of respect, sportsmanship, connection, team spirit, trust, leadership and carrying on the traditions of the game are at the core of the philosophy behind these events. There are no champions crowned or MVP awards given out – the events are about the experience each player gets by participating both on and off the field.

U-13 National Youth Festival – June 13-15, 2008 Lebanon Sports Complex (Warren County, Ohio) The Lebanon Sports Complex in located in Warren Country, which is hailed as "Ohio’s Largest Playground" and home of Kings Island Amusement Park.
U-15 National Youth Festival – June 20-22, 2008 Golden Goal (Lake George, N.Y.) Lake George, N.Y. is home to one of the most unique lacrosse venues, Golden Goal, as well as the Youth Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
National Senior Showcase - June 20-21, 2008 The National Senior Showcase (NSS) features the top senior boys high school players, representing the North, South, East and West regions. The NSS is set-up in a final four format, with two semifinal games, a third place game and a championship game. The East team was the 2007 winner of the National Senior Showcase.
The NSS venue will be announced by January 1, 2008. Players will be announced May 2008. Warrior Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2008 National Senior Showcase.
