BALTIMORE - The final 18 players for the 2007 United States U-19 women's lacrosse team have been announced by head coach Wendy Kridel. The 24-player training team participated at the US Lacrosse Women's Division National Tournament in Bethlehem, Pa., May 25-27, winning all four games it played.

The roster was trimmed to the International Federation of Women's Lacrosse Associations maximum size of 18 following the tournament. The IFWLA Under-19 World Championship will be held from August 4-12 in Ontario, Canada. The U.S. has won the last two IFWLA U-19 World Championships, most recently winning the 2003 event in Towson, Md.

The U.S. U-19 team returns to action on June 30 at the Gatorfest at St. Paul's School in Brooklandville, Md.
