BALTIMORE – The US Lacrosse Men’s Division Board of Governors and the US Lacrosse Men’s National Teams Committee is pleased to announce several items pertaining to the 2010 U.S. Men’s National Team which will compete in the 2010 International Lacrosse Federation World Championship in Manchester, England.
Head Coach Selection US Lacrosse welcomes applications for the position of head coach for the 2010 U.S. Men’s National Team. Candidates who are interested will find application information on the US Lacrosse website and complete applications are to be e-mailed to US Lacrosse by August 1.
Qualified candidates must be currently coaching (or have coached) at the collegiate, amateur post-collegiate or professional league levels. The process to select the three assistant coaches will be announced in September, after the head coach is named.

Player Selection Player tryouts for the 2010 U.S. Men’s National Team will be held in the summer of 2009. The tryout application process information will be announced later this year and tryout invitations issued in the first quarter of 2009.
Volunteer Appointments The US Lacrosse Men’s Division Board of Governors named Chris Hupfeldt (Haverford, Pa.) to be the vice-chair of the US Lacrosse Men’s National Teams Committee. Hupfeldt, general manager for the 2002 and 2006 U.S. Men’s National Teams, has been involved with the U.S. Men’s National Team Program since 1998.
The US Lacrosse Men’s National Teams Committee appointed Bill Rebman (Baldwin, N.Y.) as general manager of the 2010 U.S. Men’s National Team. Rebman was an assistant general manager for the 2002 and 2006 U.S. Men’s National Teams.
