Bokker, Pascal Honored as US Lacrosse Coaches of the Week


BALTIMORE – Amy Bokker of George Mason University and Adam Pascal of the College of the Holy Cross have been selected as the US Lacrosse Coaches of the Week for the week ending February 24. Both will be recognized on CSTV’s lacrosse broadcasts on March 2 and March 4.

Bokker’s squad opened its season with an 11-10 upset victory over No. 9 Johns Hopkins on February 23. The Patriots take on Virginia Tech at home, March 1 at 1:00 p.m.

Pascal led the Crusaders to a 7-6 upset victory at Yale on Sunday. Holy Cross is now 2-0 for the season, the school's first 2-0 start in over a decade.

US Lacrosse and CSTV are in the fifth year of a partnership to help bring college lacrosse broadcasts to fans around the nation. CSTV has a 23-game package for this season, including telecasts of the NCAA Division I, II and III women’s championships and the NCAA Division II and III men’s championships. CSTV will also telecast the US Lacrosse Women’s Division Intercollegiate Associates National Championship.

Top-ranked women’s lacrosse teams will be on the CSTV schedule this weekend. Unbeaten Notre Dame, ranked No. 10 in the latest IWLCA poll, heads Palo Alto, Calif. to face Stanford on March 2 at 1 p.m. No. 2 Virginia heads to No. 5 Maryland on March 4 for a 7:00 p.m. game.
