US Lacrosse Announces Winners of Essay Contest

BALTIMORE – Hannah Bolt, a seventh grader from Geneva, Fla., and Drew Sanders, a sixth grader from Orlando, Fla., are the winners of US Lacrosse’s Champions Challenge essay contest. Kids from all across the country were challenged to tell US Lacrosse who their "champion" was and why. Hannah chose her grandmother because she "never gives up, she is the biggest supporter, and she is the best role model." Drew wrote about his mother, saying that "she teaches me the value of commitment."

The winners will receive a brand new U.S. National Team lacrosse stick, a family 4-pack of tickets to the Champions Challenge weekend, and one free admission to the U.S. National Team clinic.
