U.S. Men's National Training Team Fall Exhibition and Clinic Schedule Announced

BALTIMORE – US Lacrosse has announced the fall exhibition schedule for the 40-man roster of the U.S. Men’s National Training Team. The team will play games this September and October at the United States Military Academy at West Point (N.Y.), the United States Naval Academy (Md.), and Stony Brook University (N.Y.).

Following these events, the U.S. Men’s National Team roster will be slimmed down from 40 men to 23, which will be the final roster and the team that will compete in the 2010 Federation of International Lacrosse World Championships July 10-24 in Manchester, England.

Head Coach Mike Pressler will lead the U.S. team as they seek to recapture the gold after losing to Canada in the 2006 championship game. Since first recognized international championship in 1967, the U.S. Team has won eight of 10 gold medals, winning their last one in 2002.
