BALTIMORE – adidas will give away team uniform packages, team cleats and other adidas gear to promote the adidas Three Stripe Speaker Series at the 2009 US Lacrosse National Convention in Baltimore, Jan. 16-18. The Three Stripe Speaker Series features Mike Pressler (2010 U.S. men’s national team head coach and Bryant University head coach) Tom Marechek (National Lacrosse Hall of Fame member) and Carol Cantele (Gettysburg College head coach).

The adidas Three Stripe Speakers Series consists of speakers from each level of coaching – 1, 2 and 3 – who will headline the list of over 100 speakers throughout the weekend. "adidas Lacrosse is dedicated to the advancement of all educational based experiences," said John Purnell, president and CEO of adidas Lacrosse. "We strive to help all coaches, athletes and officials reach their potential and enjoy their educational experiences. Building tomorrow's leaders through sports and education helps build stronger, healthier, more confident and knowledgeable citizens."

The U.S. women’s team will conduct demonstrations during the convention. Clinics are offered for all levels of coaches and officials, ranging from youth through college.

The convention also features the largest-ever lacrosse specific expo hall, the US Lacrosse Youth Excellence Awards Breakfast (sponsored by Modell’s Sporting Goods), the Men’s Recruiting Seminar And Fair (sponsored by the Bermuda Lacrosse Association), the women’s recruiting seminars, US Lacrosse Level 1 and 2 Coaching Education Program Clinics, the Women’s Kickoff Luncheon (sponsored by Brine and Sports Her Way), with Janine Tucker and several other special events.
