Men's Head CoachNew LondonCT Mitchell College is currently searching for an athlete/student focused Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach, who is responsible for expanding and maintaining a successful men’s lacrosse program for the College. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics, keeping him/her well-informed of all planning, organizing, staffing and the overall development of the lacrosse program. This position requires not only a passion for the game, but a strong work ethic, a mentorship approach to team building and the desire to work with student athletes both on and off the field. This position is aided by a strong assistant coach and has the full commitment of the College towards future growth opportunities, including camps and summer clinics. Individuals must have the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends while working both independently, as well as part of a team, in a multi-tasking environment. Required Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in related field – PE, Sport Management, Athletic Administration required, advanced degrees are preferred • Minimum of 1 – 3 years of coaching experience, preferably at the college level • Collegiate playing experience • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, and staff. • Current and valid driver’s license. • Current First Aid, CPR & AED certification. Boys' Head CoachCenter ValleyPA Southern Lehigh Youth Lacrosse is seeking a boys' U15 head coach for a squad of 25 8th graders who are members of a recreational, travel lacrosse program. The team competes in the A division of the Lehigh Valley Youth Lacrosse League. Practices are four times per week and games typically on Saturday and Sunday. Duties include, but not limited to, on-field coaching and training, as well as organization of practice and game strategies. Administrative duties will be handled by a parent of a team member.
