Women's Head CoachNorth AndoverMA Founded in 1947, Merrimack College is a selective, independent college in the Roman Catholic, Augustinian tradition located just 25 minutes north of Boston in North Andover, Massachusetts. With an enrollment of approximately 3,300 students, 75 percent of whom reside on campus, Merrimack features over 90 academic programs in business, education, science, engineering, and the liberal arts. Merrimack College has been ranked one of the top 10 best colleges in the Northeast by U.S. News & World Report for five straight years and is consistently rated a “Best in the Northeast” college by the Princeton Review. Merrimack sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports for men and women and is a member of the NCAA Division II, Northeast-10 Conference and the NCAA Division I, Hockey East Association. In this academic year Merrimack has had eight programs qualify for the NCAA Tournament or capture a regular season competition, highlighted by the first ever National Champion in Women’s Track. Merrimack is also poised this year for its highest finish in 15 years in the Northeast-10 President’s Cup standings. The Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach will plan, organize, direct, and evaluate all phases of a competitive, NCAA Division II intercollegiate lacrosse program. Primary duties include student-athlete recruitment, practice planning, scheduling, coordinating team travel, budget management, supervision of assistant coaches, monitoring academic progress of student-athletes, and administration of the lacrosse program in full compliance with NCAA, Northeast-10, and Merrimack College rules and regulations. The position will report directly to the Director of Athletics in keeping with the prioritized expectations for the program. The staff consists of two assistants (one part-time, one volunteer) and the program is supported by an experienced staff of athletic trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, equipment managers, academic advisors and counselors, and media specialists. The support, practice, and playing facilities are outstanding, many of which have received recent upgrades with others scheduled for even further improvements as part of a fully supported athletics facilities master plan. Recruitment of student-athletes and operations of the program are conducted in keeping with Merrimack College’s mission to “enlighten minds, engage hearts, and empower lives.” This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and at least three to five years of previous coaching experience at the intercollegiate level. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proven recruiting skills, demonstrated experience in teaching and coaching the game and must have a commitment to academic success and student-athlete well-being. The candidate must demonstrate a working knowledge of NCAA Division II Women’s Lacrosse rules and regulations. Although primary player recruitment has been within the Northeast, more diverse recruiting ties are desirable. Women's Assistant CoachSt. LouisMO Missouri Baptist University women's lacrosse program is looking to hire a graduate assistant coach for the upcoming 2016-2017 season and beyond. We are going into our 10th year as a Varsity Program and competes in the newly formed NAIA. Our team is fully funded by our University and all student-athletes are on scholarship. We practice 11-1pm in the fall and 1-3pm in the spring so holding a job outside of this position is easy to do. Job Requirements: Must have played collegiate lacrosse. Must have coaching experience (high school level coaching is acceptable - collegiate coaching experience is a plus). This position is compensated with a Graduate Degree tuition scholarship. We are specifically looking for one offensive coordinator and one defensive coordinator to help grow our up-and-coming program. The assistant coaches will assist with all aspects of a MCLA men’s lacrosse program: game strategy, practice planning, player development, scouting/recruiting, video breakdown and analysis, travel, and day-to-day lacrosse operations. Attendance at all games and practices are required. Dominican lacrosse is a fully funded program that is supported and run as a varsity program through the athletic department.
