US Lacrosse Intercollegiate Associates Even if there's no varsity lacrosse at the college you're considering attending, there very well may be a club lacrosse team at the school. There are more than 150 men's club teams and more than 100 women's IA teams around the country. These teams are eligible for national honors and to compete for a season-ending national championship. College Recruiting As the sport of lacrosse continues to grow, more and more high school players are trying to understand the college recruiting process. US Lacrosse wants to help provide some guidance in this area. As a first step, click here to read an article about recruiting that appeared in the April 2006 issue of Lacrosse magazine.

US Lacrosse Events There are a number of playing opportunities through US Lacrosse throughout the year for a number of age groups. The US Lacrosse Intercollegiate Associates national championships take place in mid-May. The Women's Division National Tournament is held every Memorial Day Weekend. Two Youth Festivals (U-13 and U-15) are held in June each year. In addition, US Lacrosse works with a number of the tournaments around the country each year, such as the Vail Shootout, the Summit Lacrosse Tournament in Lake Placid, the Ocean City Lacrosse Classic and the Florida Lacrosse Classic. • Go to the Events home page

Positive Coaching Alliance In 2001, US Lacrosse began a partnership with the Stanford University-based Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). PCA was formed with the goal of changing the culture in youth sports to improve the experience of athletes at all ages, with the mission of “transforming youth sports so sports can transform youth,” and the partnership enforces the idea that participants and spectators alike must “honor the game.” Get more information on the partnership and the PCA. • US Lacrosse Code of Conduct (pdf)
