The International Lacrosse Federation (ILF) World Championships returns to Canada for the third time in the championships' history. The 2006 games will be held in London, Ontario from July 13-22 where the U.S. Men's National Team will look to defend its six straight ILF World Championships. The previous two times Canada served as the host of the ILF World Championships was in 1967 and 1986, both held in Toronto. Learn more ILF World Championship history.
A record 21 nations will be competiting in Canada in four different divisions they include:
Blue Division: Australia, Canada, England, Iroquois, Japan, United States
Red Division: Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Wales
Orange Division: Germany, Latvia, Netherlands, New Zealand, South Korea
Yellow Division: Bermuda, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Spain
2006 World Lacrosse Festival In conjunction with the 2006 ILF World Championships, the 2006 World Lacrosse Festival is also being held from July 17-21 in London, Ontario.
