THE PROCESS...

Local and District umpires should keep in mind the proper procedures when standing for their District rating.  If the rating will be "Out-of-Region", there is a different application and procedure.  Please review the Umpires Manual.

District In-Region Process:

  1. Applicant fills out the application (including phone number)

  2. Give application and a copy of umpiring schedule to the Local Chair.

  3. Local Chair will confirm applicant is a member in good standing

  4. Local Chair will give completed application and schedule to the Region Chair prior to the rating session.

District Out-of-Region Process:

  1. Applicant fills out the application (includes phone number)

  2. Give application and a copy of umpiring schedule to the Local Chair

  3. Local Chair will confirm applicant is a member in good standing

  4. Local Chair will send application and schedule to their Super Region chair for approval prior to the rating session

  5. SR chair will confirm approval with applicant's Region Chair and forward information to the event Rating Chair.
