The Players At-Large Committee is dedicated to expanding the opportunities for women not yet associated with an organized post-collegiate team to play in tournaments around the world. Tournaments are held throughout the year providing an abundance of opportunities for one-time teams to play. The WDPCC is currently building a comprehensive database of all post-collegiate players interested in continuing to play lacrosse at some level. Responsibilities include:

  • Building at-large database through word of month, website and other marketing efforts.
  • Increasing presence of Women's Divisions at various tournaments. By increasing the options for women's post-collegiate play, we will be able to present more opportunities for club teams and at-large players alike.
  • Develop structure and processes to coordinate one-time teams. Moreover, aid club teams looking for at-large players to complete team rosters for various tournaments.

The Website Committee is charged with the foremost objective to become the ultimate information source for post-collegiate club players. We are to ensure that all information given is current, pertinent, and complete. We are to also make certain that all post-collegiate athletes are aware of the vital resources that we provide. It is our goal to construct and maintain a website that is not only functional, but essential to any post-collegiate player. This committee has two chairs, one dedicated to content and the other technical. Responsibilities for the content co-chair include:

  • Clubs - maintain comprehensive and accurate club team database. This database will soon include team profiles. The content chair is to serve as a liaison with club contacts to keep them updated on the endeavors of the council and to get them further involved.
  • Tournaments - maintain comprehensive and accurate tournament database. This also includes contacting tournament directors to acquire necessary information. Additionally, coordinating tournament profiles to be posted online.
  • Websites - establish reciprocal links with other websites with our same goals and purposes, eventually networking together as many as possible.
  • Organize all information obtained into succinct and cohesive pieces, articles and the like, comprehensible and easy to read.
