"The WPDCC offers a unique venue for women's post collegiate teams to network and support each other in their efforts to develop opportunities for women to continue playing lacrosse beyond the college years.  The contest is just one of many ways for teams to share their stories and we applaud the WPDCC for working so hard to bring us all together."

"Today's women just aren't ready to hang up their lacrosse sticks along with those hard-earned college diplomas so thank goodness there is still some great lacrosse to be played!  Whether you play in an organized league like the Women's Mid-Atlantic Club Lacrosse League which now boasts 14 teams, for a team that comes together for tournaments, in a summer or indoor league, or just play in your alumni game each year wondering how the heck those college kids suddenly got so fast, the bottom line is the same ...you are playing!  And with so many new opportunites to travel and compete at the post-collegiate level, who wouldn't?  So the next time you walk out your door on a beautiful spring day, remember to grab your stick.  You never know where it will take you next!"
