The 2018 Team USA Fall Classic was a rousing success, with packed crowds on hand to watch the U.S. men, U.S. women, and U.S. women’s U19 team in action. Here’s a recap of some of our coverage from the weekend:

USA Men 12, Yale 7

Dominance on the draw and solid goaltending helped Team USA beat the reigning NCAA champions Yale, 12-7, in the first game of the Team USA Fall Classic.

USA Women 14,  James Madison 10

James Madison suffered heavy graduation losses from last year’s NCAA championship team, but the Dukes gave Team USA a stern battle in Jenny Levy’s coaching debut for the U.S. team. A dominant performance by Taylor Cummings (four goals, 12 draw controls) helped the U.S. pull away.

USA U19 Women 18, Navy 11

A fast start and a strong finish carried the U.S. women’s U19 squad to an 18-11 victory over Navy. Thirteen different players scored goals for Team USA and Rachel Hall made 10 saves while allowing just three goals in 30 minutes of action. The team’s weekend also included an instar-squad scrimmage and a practice exhibition against the U.S. senior team.
