Head coach Kelly Amonte Hiller will get her first look at the 2019 U.S. Women’s U19 team during this weekend’s Team USA Fall Classic, which will double as a training weekend for the U19 squad.

The team will hold four practice sessions over the course of four days and also have two games available to the public free of charge.

The team will play in a Blue-White intra-squad exhibition on Saturday night at 7 p.m. on Tierney Field at US Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md. On Sunday at 4 p.m., the U19 team will face a stiff challenge when its hots Navy on Tierney Field.

Navy has reached at least the NCAA quarterfinal round in each of the last two seasons and is led by junior Kelly Larkin. Larkin led Navy with 117 points (62g, 55a) last season to earn second team All-America honors from Inside Lacrosse last season.

Amonte Hiller and her staff named 36 players to the training team following tryouts in August. The roster, which will be the most experienced U.S. team ever, includes 20 players currently in college and 16 in high school. The squad includes the top-ranked player in the classes of 2018 (Elizabeth Hillman), 2019 (Kasey Choma) and 2020 (Caitlyn Wurzburger) in Inside Lacrosse’s most recent recruiting rankings.

Canada upset the U.S., 9-8, to win the 2015 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) Women’s U19 World Championship, ending a string of four straight gold medals for Team USA. The 2019 FIL Women’s U19 World Championship will be held Aug. 1-10, 2019 in Peterborough, Canada.

The U.S. women’s national team trains and plays using best-in-class products provided by Nike (apparel and footwear), Brine (equipment), STX (equipment), SISU Guard (mouthguards), The Pearl by Guardian (balls) and DJO (sports braces).

In addition to these partners, Chipotle Mexican Grill, MedStar Sports Medicine, Greenfields and Nationwide are official sponsors of the national team. Team training is also aided by products from Motive Pure, NormaTec Recovery and Athletic Republic.
