One of the benefits of attending the US Lacrosse Convention has always been the opportunity to meet other coaches, officials and administrators from around the country. That will be easier than ever with a specially-designed networking opportunity at January’s convention in Philadelphia.

The LaxCon Networking Event, presented by Valley Forge Sports, will be held for convention registrants on Friday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Field House, located adjacent to the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

The networking event, included in the registration fee, includes a free appetizer buffet, a free drink ticket for the first 500 attendees, giveaways, raffles, special guest appearances and more.

“Valley Forge Sports is proud to partner with US Lacrosse in welcoming LaxCon back to Philadelphia, which is just minutes away from Valley Forge and Montgomery County,” said Jon Scheuren, Director of Sports, Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board. “Being a sponsor of this conference is a great opportunity for our sports team to further connect with the lacrosse community, and enable us to keep up with the latest tournament trends while understanding the unique needs of the players.”

“The US Lacrosse Convention doubles as an educational opportunity and a celebration of the sport,” said Kim Rogers, Director of Special Events for US Lacrosse. “This new networking event is going to be a great way to kick off the convention and help facilitate professional and lacrosse connections between our attendees that come from all corners of the country and even the world.”

The US Lacrosse Convention annually brings together approximately 7,000 coaches, officials administrators and fans from the lacrosse community for a three-day event that includes more than 120 educational sessions.
