This photo gallery celebrates the launch of the Lacrosse Communities Project in the Cleveland neighborhood of Ohio City. US Lacrosse and its North Coast Ohio Chapter have committed $300,000 to the program in local and national funds over two years. In addition to delivering ongoing lacrosse programming for youth in the Ohio City and surrounding Cleveland neighborhoods, a portion of those proceeds have funded the development of a small-sided lacrosse field at Urban Community School (UCS).

The launch event included a clinic to introduce UCS students to lacrosse that was led by Cleveland State University head men’s lacrosse coach Dylan Sheridan and his team; Medina High School head women’s lacrosse coach Colleen Bodkin; and players from the Baldwin Wallace women’s lacrosse team.
