Stagnitta, a longtime college and professional lacrosse coach, and Glick, a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, run MVP Development Group, a leadership and development group that provides training to college and professional sports teams and businesses and non-profit organizations of all types. They will present on the five traits of leaders.

“There are different ways that people can lead, and everyone can lead at some level,” Stagnitta said. “There are five traits that all leaders possess. We’ll share those traits and ways to develop them in your players and as coaches.”

Stagnitta, who led Rutgers and Washington and Lee to a combined seven NCAA tournament appearances as a collegiate head coach, has experienced tremendous success since moving onto the professional ranks. Four of his five pro teams have reached the playoffs with the Denver Outlaws playing in the 2012 Major League Lacrosse championship game and most recently, he led Whipsnakes LC to the inaugural PLL championship.

Glick coached the MLL’s Charlotte Hounds with Stagnitta and was an assistant coach for the New York Lizards this past summer. He served the Army for 20 years and his last assignment was the Director of Victory College at Fort Jackson, leading the Army’s Leadership Development School, Resiliency School and the military’s only Physical Fitness School.
