The two head coaches for the U.S. women’s national team program - Kelly Amonte Hiller and Jenny Levy - will be featured speakers at the 2020 US Lacrosse Convention in Philadelphia.

The US Lacrosse Convention runs from Jan. 10-12 at Pennsylvania Convention Center and features more than 120 sessions for coaches, officials and organizational leaders.

Registration for the convention starts at $135 for the general public and just $95 for US Lacrosse members through Oct. 31, 2019. There is an additional $10 discount per registration for groups of four or more US Lacrosse members signing up together.

Amonte Hiller, the head coach at Northwestern, led the U.S. to the gold medal at the World Lacrosse Women’s U19 World Championship this past summer in Peterborough, Canada. The U.S. finished a perfect 7-0 in a dominating run that culminated with a 13-3 victory over reigning champion Canada in the gold medal game.

Amonte Hiller, a three-time player on U.S. World Cup teams, has won seven national championships in her 18 years as the head coach at Northwestern. Her 2019 team won the Big Ten championship and reached the NCAA semifinals for the 11th time in her career. She enters the 2020 collegiate season with an overall record of 280-73.

Levy, the head coach at North Carolina, has been the head coach of the U.S. women’s senior team since November 2017 and is preparing the U.S. team to defend its world title at the 2021 World Lacrosse Women’s World Championship, which will be hosted by US Lacrosse at Towson (Md.) University.

Levy, a former U.S. national team player, is the only head coach in the history of the University of North Carolina program. She ranks third all-time among NCAA Division I women’s coaches with 346 wins and has led the Tar Heels to NCAA berths in 21 of her 24 seasons. Under her leadership, UNC won the NCAA championship in 2013 and 2016 and has reached the national semifinals 11 times.
