In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, US Lacrosse has released a series of videos that were produced for the opening of the new National Lacrosse Hall of Fame and Museum, which is located at US Lacrosse National Headquarters in Sparks, Md.

The final one of these videos, “The Stickmaker” features legendary stick maker Alf Jacques describing in detail the process he goes through to make each stick with his own hands.

"It's such a part of our whole culture, our religion, who we are as a people," Jacques said. "That's the main reason I continue to make wooden sticks."
