BALTIMORE — US Lacrosse today named Sweat X an organizational, national teams, and convention partner.

The agreement makes Sweat X, a collection of laundry cleaning products owned by Renegade Brands, the official laundry detergent and odor spray of US Lacrosse and Team USA through 2018. Sweat X will donate a portion of online sales back to US Lacrosse to assist in the national governing body’s efforts to develop lacrosse.

“We are excited to welcome Renegade Brands and Sweat X into the US Lacrosse family,” said Susie Chase, vice president for partnerships and philanthropy at US Lacrosse. “Parents of our youth and high school-aged members are familiar with the fun challenges of laundering their kids’ lacrosse gear, and we’re happy to partner with a product line that will make that task significantly easier.”

“The Sweat X team is honored to partner with US Lacrosse, and we look forward to Sweat X becoming the top choice for Team USA and US Lacrosse members,” said Cathy Horton, inventor of Sweat X and CEO of Renegade Brands. “We are proud to be working with the fastest-growing youth sports organization in the United States.”

The Sweat X Laundry Cleaning Line includes a detergent, odor laundry booster, and stain and odor sprays. It is designed to remove sports stains and odors and eliminate 99 percent of bacteria embedded in active wear. Sweat X products are non-toxic and biodegradable, with no dermal impact. Numerous professional teams, collegiate sports programs and sports organizations use Sweat X.

By year end on, customers will be able to associate a purchase with US Lacrosse, thereby directing a portion of the sale back to US Lacrosse to help fund the organization’s player, coach and official educational programs, injury research and First Stick Grants.
