SPARKS, Md. — US Lacrosse, the national governing body for the sport, has announced a content partnership with TrueSport®, a positive youth sports movement powered by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

TrueSport has partnered with more than 20 sport NGBs to promote a positive culture of youth sport with expert content and programming, including values-based lesson plans, engaging articles, and videos that promote sportsmanship, character building and life skills, and clean and healthy competition.

“We’re excited to partner with TrueSport and share this valuable messaging with our nearly 450,000 members,” said Ann Carpenetti, vice president of lacrosse operations for US Lacrosse. “We have a robust communications platform to reach the lacrosse community and we feel this content will be well received by our players, coaches, officials, program leaders, and parents.”

Dedicated to engaging, informing, and inspiring the next generation of leaders on and off the field, TrueSport content features elite athletes and experts who can educate and engage NGB members and the youth sport community on topics that range from bullying prevention and teamwork, to sports nutrition and supplements.

“We’re delighted to welcome US Lacrosse and its members into the TrueSport community,” said Lisa Voight, TrueSport Partnership and Resource Manager. “We’re constantly creating innovative and expert-driven content to provide guidance on some of the biggest issues young athletes are facing in sport today, including body image, inclusivity, and mental health. With this new partnership, we’re expanding the network of people prepared to make sport a healthy and productive experience.”

US Lacrosse will begin sharing TrueSport content later this week.
