SPARKS, Md. — Lax Sports Network will stream the championship games of the four divisions of the upcoming US Lacrosse Nationals.

“We’re very excited to help showcase the talents of these outstanding young lacrosse players,” said Kim Rogers, director of special events for US Lacrosse. “Lax Sports Network has been a tremendous partner for US Lacrosse at various events in recent years and we look forward to working with them to put a spotlight on this event which traditionally brings out the best in sportsmanship and competitive energy from the participants.”

This year’s US Lacrosse Nationals will be held from July 19-21 at United Sports in Downingtown, Pa. The event features 52 teams from 17 states competing at the 14U and 13U age groups for boys and girls. Teams earned the right to compete in the tournament based on previous performances in US Lacrosse sanctioned qualifying tournaments.

The US Lacrosse Nationals date to 2009 and have been played at venues in Maryland, Florida, Colorado, Indiana, Richmond and Delaware over the last decade. This will be the first time the event has been held in Pennsylvania.

Past participants in the event include a number of recent college and now professional stars, including Sam Apuzzo, Kasey Behr, Ryan Conrad, Tyler Dunn, Cortney Fortunato, Justin Guterding, Alice Mercer and Dylan Molloy.
