SPARKS, Md. – US Lacrosse today published to its YouTube channel four rules interpretation videos for the 2018 season, covering high school and youth boys’ and girls’ lacrosse. Links to each appear below.

The videos, which will form the basis of several educational sessions at this weekend’s US Lacrosse Convention (LaxCon) in Baltimore, illustrate various changes in rules and officiating mechanics made during the offseason. They represent direction on how officials shall adjudicate various plays and are required viewing for officials.

“The videos are easily consumable by coaches and parents, in addition to being an essential component of officials’ preseason preparation,” Charlie Obermayer, senior manager for officials development at US Lacrosse, said. “Special thanks to our staff and to our colleagues at the NFHS for the work they put in to produce each video.”
