US Lacrosse has opened the application process for the medical staffs for the 2020 U.S. men’s U19 team and the 2022 U.S. men’s senior team. The medical staffs will work with the teams on all activities leading up to the respective world championships. Each staff will consist of the following roles:

  • Physician – primary care (1)
  • Physician – orthopedic (1)
  • Certified Athletic Trainer (2)

The national team medical staffs are selected by a combination of US Lacrosse staff and volunteers with specific national team experience and knowledge. The staffs are primarily responsible for the medical care and treatment of national team athletes. The position has been filled very successfully by full-time professionals who, with careful planning and preparation, have balanced the demands of their day job, and professional medical responsibilities.

The deadline to apply is March 15, 2019 and should include a completed medical staff application, letter of introduction detailing skills and experience relevant to the job description and a resume or curriculum vitae outlining skills and work experience.
