The US Lacrosse West Regional Conference is coming back to Las Vegas.

This year’s event will be held at the Renaissance Las Vegas from Nov. 15-17, 2019.

“The response to last year’s event was overwhelmingly positive,” said Kim Rogers, director of special events for US Lacrosse. “We’re thrilled to bring this event back to Las Vegas and continue to build off of the success we achieved last year.”

Geared towards coaches, officials and program administrators in the lacrosse community, the US Lacrosse West Regional Conference offers specialized tracks with sessions covering topic areas such as team and athlete development, rules interpretation, game management and organizational leadership.

Nearly 350 individuals participated in the inaugural US Lacrosse West Regional Conference last year, an event that featured over 50 education sessions with 35 different speakers.

“We are a bit siloed here in Texas because our state is so large,” said Jess Rest, program leader for the Central Texas Youth Lacrosse Association. “I really liked meeting and talking with people from other areas, and learning about some of the things they have done. It was really good to make connections.”

“This was a great opportunity to touch base with umpires from other areas, but also to have a chance to chat with coaches regarding the new season,” said Rachel Neal, an official from Southern California, after last year’s event. “Coaches were able to see the training that we go through, and after one session, they just looked at me and said, ‘wow.’”

Registration for the 2019 event will go live in mid-June. Visit the event home page to sign up for email notification for when registration opens.
