Success has followed Ryan Boyle throughout his career, yielding championships and trophies on the collegiate, professional, and international stages. We recently asked Boyle to recount his personal highlights from a competitive career that spanned almost 15 years.

“In college, winning the national championship as a freshman and having the game-winning assist was certainly a standout,” said Boyle, who is being inducted as a truly great player to the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2019.

He also cited championships won with the MLL’s Barrage and Cannons as special moments, as well as having the ball in his stick as the world championship game ended in 2010 with a victory over Canada.

“That was an easy one to be like, okay, I’m done,” he said.

The National Lacrosse Hall of Fame, a program of US Lacrosse, was established in 1957 to honor men and women who by their deeds as players, coaches, officials and/or contributors, and by the example of their lives, personify the great contribution of lacrosse to our way of life.

Boyle and the other members of the Class of 2019 will be officially recognized at the induction ceremony in Hunt Valley, Maryland on Saturday, October 19. RPS Bollinger and the Markel Insurance Company serve as sponsors of the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
