FIL Rebrands itself as World Lacrosse

Less than six months after securing Provisional Recognition from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the international federation for men’s and women’s lacrosse is taking yet another significant step forward in its development with the introduction of a new name, logo and brand platform.

Effective today, the international federation will be known as World Lacrosse.

Tickets on Sale for Spring Premiere

SPARKS, Md. — Tickets are now on sale for the Spring Premiere, a six-team women’s lacrosse event featuring the U.S. Senior and U19 teams at Stanford University from Jan. 25-27, 2019. Joining the two U.S. teams will be a pair of international teams (England and Japan) and two collegiate teams (Fresno State and Stanford).

In addition to the games, the U.S. National Team players and coaches will hold a 90-minute clinic geared towards players aged 8 to 18. The clinic registration includes a weekend ticket pass and a U.S. national team shirt.
