Because Sanctioned Tournaments have met a set of operational and safety standards, they can guarantee a consistent playing environment.This allows the participants to focus on their experience and enjoying the game.
Event Operators
Insurance
- General liability and accident insurance through RPS Bollinger (on the condition that the event operator, all players and head coaches are active US Lacrosse Members)

Marketing
- Ability to differentiate the tournament within the current marketplace by recieving recognition from the national governing body of the sport
- Event information on the US Lacrosse Webpage including event logo, dates, location, and website link
- Announcement of each event upon obtaining sanctioned status in quarterly releases
- Inclusion in two full paged Sanctioned Tournament advertisements in Lacrosse Magazine
- Where applicable, coverage of event through various US Lacrosse media properties
- Opportunity to advertised with Lacrosse Magazine and LaxMagazine.com at a discounted rate
- Rights to use the US Lacrosse Sanctioned Tournament logo (all materials and usage must be approved by US Lacrosse)
- Inclusion of event listing in selected editions of coach, program leader, and chapter newsletters
US Lacrosse Staff Experience
- Select US Lacrosse Event staff will be available for sanctioned tournament operators to use as a resource for planning, scheduling, venue contract consultation, and other related event questions
- Special access to a sanctioning resource website with over 40 documents to assist with event organization and administration
- Option to augment tournament with US Lacrosse Coaching and Officials Education Programs
Membership Verification
- If not already available to you, US Lacrosse will work to incorporate the electronic membership verification into the tournament registration system
- US Lacrosse can also manually perform a membership check against all rosters and coaches (pending tournament director meets time and date requirements)
- US Lacrosse will, to the best of its ability, provide a US Lacrosse staff member to verify membership
- Age verification for all participants as early as 2017
Certified US Lacrosse Officials
- Access to local assignor contacts and assistance where needed with recruitment of officials for events
- Supplement US Lacrosse sanctioned events with Officials Education Clinics and Training
