If you follow the biggest names in women’s lacrosse, you’ve likely come across Kylie Ohlmiller’s new YouTube channel, which features her iconic “Wall Bowl” series. She shares her favorite wall ball tips, then refuels with a healthy treat once a week at Bango Bowls, her local acai bowl shop.

“After I get a good sweat in, I always like to make sure I refuel my body with the right foods, but I also have a really bad sweet tooth,” the former Stony Brook and current WPLL star said.

“Acai bowls have become that kind of balance between making sure I’m refueling my body with energy from the berries and fruits, but also treating myself with a little Nutella to make my sweet tooth happy without eating ice cream or cookies!”

However, acai bowls contain a lot of sugar, most being natural sugars from fruit. Make sure you burn enough calories to make up for the sugar intake.

“That’s why it’s my weekly treat after I crush a workout.”

Her next healthy food obsession? Poke bowls, which is a sushi roll in a bowl. Stay tuned.
