US Lacrosse develops and delivers comprehensive programs and resources that promote consistency, excellence, safety and integrity by providing leadership throughout the country that advocates and aids in the recruitment, training and retention of lacrosse officials.
The funding, grant and scholarship opportunities available below to individual officials and Local Officiating Organizations across the country are focused on helping our partner organizations and US Lacrosse achieve our collective goals. Those collective goals and opportunities that are related to those goals are broken up into four seperate categories; recruiting, training, retention and leadership of officials.
Applications are reviewed by US Lacrosse Officials Development Region and State Coordinators as well as US Lacrosse staff. Where applicable, application open and end dates will be displayed in red.

We will award each US Lacrosse Officiating Region with one (1) men's and one (1) women's clinic annually. Observation Program Grant
The goal of this program is to develop officials, not grade them. As such, observers will be trained to identify and communicate key areas for improvement in working officials, and will be tasked with checking to see if these officials have implemented the suggestions into their games. Experienced officials will be trained in observation, evaluation, and communication, and then sent to observe working officials throughout the spring season. Since the goal of the program is to help officials grow, each official will be observed at least twice in order to determine if he/she was able to implement the suggestions for improvement. We will award an LOO in each US Lacrosse Officiating Region one (1) men's and one (1) women's observation grant annually.
