USA Lacrosse Seeks Medical Staff for Upcoming National Teams

SPARKS, Md. — USA Lacrosse currently has openings for physicians and certified athletic trainers to serve on several upcoming U.S. National Teams. We’re looking for world-class medical providers to support four of our U.S. National Teams in preparation and during their respective World Lacrosse championship events.

The following positions are open:

  • U.S. Men’s U20 team (Physician, 2 certified athletic trainers). March 2024 through December 2025. World Championship in Seogwipo, Jeju Island, South Korea from July 18-27, 2025
  • U.S. Women’s Senior Team (Physician, 2 certified athletic trainers). March 2024 through December 2026. World Championship in Japan, dates TBD.
  • U.S. Men’s Sixes Team (Physician, 1 certified athletic trainer). March 2024 through December 2026. World Championship dates and location TBD.
  • U.S. Women’s Sixes Team (Physician, 1 certified athletic trainer). March 2024 through December 2026. World Championship dates and location TBD.

The medical providers will: support USA Lacrosse and the U.S. National Team Program; demonstrate a willingness and capacity to develop relationships with team coaches, support staff, players and USA Lacrosse staff; and have some experience and exposure in lacrosse. Medical personnel are expected to attend all domestic and international events (e.g., tryouts, camps, competitions) associated with the respective team’s cycle.
