LOS ANGELES —The Premier Lacrosse League powered by Ticketmaster today released the schedule for its 2024 PLL Championship Series to be held February 14-19, 2024, at The St. James in Springfield, Va., airing and streaming on ESPN Platforms.

The Olympic-style, six-on-six, round-robin tournament will feature the league’s top four teams from the 2023 season: the Boston Cannons, California Redwoods, Philadelphia Waterdogs, and the 2023 PLL Cash App Champion Utah Archers.

The Boston Cannons, California Redwoods, Philadelphia Waterdogs, Utah Archers will be the first PLL teams to represent their newly named home locations. Earlier this year, the PLL assigned its eight teams to home cities, marking the league’s biggest investment since its inception in 2018.

“The PLL Championship Series represents innovation and growth in our sport and our league, especially as we approach the Los Angeles 2028 Games and lacrosse’s return to Olympic action,” Mike Rabil, co-founder and CEO of the Premier Lacrosse League, said. “We’re thrilled to bring this fast-paced, Olympic format to fans across the country through our partnership with ESPN, and in the DMV alongside The St. James. We’re set for another action-packed series from February 14-19 when the world’s best players suit up for sixes action.”

Teams will compete in Olympic Sixes, the game format set to bring lacrosse back to the Olympics for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Games, marked by fast-paced play on a condensed field with a shortened shot clock, and faceoffs limited to the start of each quarter.
