With teams from across the country competing annually, the National Tournament has been become one of the nation's marquee college recruiting events. The event is open to all high school aged players, but players must try out for regional teams in order to participate.

Cedar Lane Regional Park is a 110-acre multi-sport recreation complex in Harford County, Maryland that hosts about 20 tournaments each year and attracts more than 500,000 visitors annually. Featuring one turf and 12 grass fields for tournament and league play, each grass field is continuously maintained to provide premier playing surfaces. The park also features a 1.46-mile walking/jogging trail for guests that are looking to stay active in between games.

Housing Policy

US Lacrosse is proud to partner with HBC Event Services, a travel/booking agency with a nationwide reputation for excellence in managing travel for sports events. HBC Event Services provides an easy way for you to book your hotel rooms with our partnered hotels at the best rates. These rates are lower than the hotel’s best available rate and usually includes breakfast for your team. HBC Event Services guarantees that if the tournament is cancelled due to weather, you will not be charge for any cancellation penalties that you may otherwise have been subject to if you made your reservation elsewhere. This guarantee does not include hotel reservations made after the hotel cut off dates.

This is a stay-to-play tournament. All teams outside of a 50-mile driving distance MUST (as a condition of acceptance) make all hotel accommodations using our tournament housing services. All girls that are high school players, grades 9-11, or play for an approved scholastic club team, can try out for the National Tournament. Please contact your coach or your sub-regional chair for the specific process and details for your area. For example, some regions require try-out invitations. Requirements vary by sub-region.

Cost & Fees

Player fees are required to participate and will be paid to the Sub-Regional Chair or Team Coordinator. There may be a tryout fee and there may be an additional fee for those that are selected to a team. These fees vary from region to region and will cover the costs of tryouts, uniforms and other expenses.

Register Online

Contact your sub-region’s chair or your high school coach for the tryout link. You will be asked to provide your contact information and you must be a current US Lacrosse member through the end of the tournament. The information you provide is included in the college coaches recruiting handbook.


You may only tryout for the sub-region in which your high school is located.

College Coaches

All coaches must register individually and all tournament information will be emailed to you. Coaches that register online by May 15 receive the following: e-mail copy of the 2020 Player Profile Book; rosters and grid schedule; free lunch voucher for day(s) you are allowed to attend per NCAA rules. On-site registration available, but does not include same benefits.

Volunteers & Officials


US Lacrosse is looking for capable and enthusiastic volunteers (ages 16 and older) in the Baltimore, MD area to help make 2021’s event a success. Specifically, we need scorer’s table assistants who will help track game scores and record goals and penalties. Please consider volunteering, even if you can only help with limited time shifts.
